Performance Monitoring Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Performance Monitoring Engineer to monitor and analyze 2G/4G/5G RAN performance in a multi-vendor environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Ericsson tools and KPI frameworks, with a strong background in network quality assurance and auto-ticketing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Monitor and analyze RAN KPIs (CS & PS) 24/7 across 2G/4G/5G networks
✔️ Identify and escalate degradations, anomalies, and trends using Ericsson tools
✔️ Generate and maintain daily/weekly/monthly performance reports
✔️ Perform real-time root cause analysis and initiate corrective actions
✔️ Define, tune, and verify auto-tickets in UPM; troubleshoot MSTOP auto-ticketing
✔️ Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for escalations and fixes
✔️ Conduct regular health checks and audits using ENIQ, UPM, BO, SDM
✔️ Create and maintain reporting templates, Power BI dashboards, and outage impact reports
✔️ Monitor RAN topology, capacity, and congestion trends
✔️ Ensure adherence to SLAs, maintain performance knowledge base, and suggest optimization actions

Required Qualifications:
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer, or Electronics Engineering
✔️ Minimum 5 years of experience in RAN network performance and quality assurance
✔️ Minimum 2 years in GSM/GPRS/OM roles
✔️ Hands-on experience with Ericsson NE and performance tools
✔️ Advanced Excel (Macros), SQL, MS Access, Sybase
✔️ Strong knowledge in defining and verifying KPIs in UPM
✔️ Experienced with Power BI and performance auto-ticketing systems
