Procurement Engineer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Procurement Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in procurement processes specific to the construction and contracting sector.

🔹 Key Requirements:
7–20 years of total experience in the construction industry.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Saudi Arabia.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Deep understanding of construction materials, suppliers, and local market dynamics.
Strong experience in RFQs, purchasing, logistics coordination, and vendor management.
Familiarity with contract terms, Incoterms, and procurement compliance standards.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and documentation skills.
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Source and negotiate with suppliers for materials and services based on project requirements.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of items in accordance with project timelines.
Coordinate with engineering, planning, and project teams to align technical specifications with procurement needs.
Prepare and evaluate RFQs, quotations, and purchase orders.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain vendor databases.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and client requirements.
