Quantity Surveyor

Description:

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university
• Strong Quantity Surveying and commercial construction experience
• Experience with cost planning, measurement, valuations and cost control
• Experience preparing Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
• Strong contract administration and commercial management experience
• Experience managing variations, claims, payment certificates and final accounts
• Strong contractor and subcontractor management experience
• Experience on medium to large-scale construction projects
• Strong financial reporting, forecasting and budget management skills
• Proficiency in relevant QS software such as Candy, BuildSmart, CostX or similar
• Middle East / Saudi Arabia experience will be advantageous
• South African nationality is essential
• Candidates based in Johannesburg or Western Cape preferred
• Must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia for long-term projects
