Scada Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a Smart City, IoT & SCADA Engineer (5+ years experience) with strong hands-on expertise in installation, configuration, implementation, testing, and commissioning of Smart City, IoT, and SCADA systems.

The role focuses on end-to-end delivery of mission-critical smart infrastructure systems in a secure, high-availability enterprise environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and implement Smart City, IoT, and SCADA solutions.
- Commission IoT sensors, gateways, PLCs, RTUs, and field devices.
- Install and configure SCADA servers, HMIs, alarms, and historians.
- Execute FAT, SAT, testing, and commissioning.
- Integrate field devices with central platforms, GIS, and control room dashboards.
- Support Control Rooms / Command Centers during live operations.
- Troubleshoot field, network, and system issues.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and cybersecurity compliance.
- Prepare technical documentation and as-built reports.

🔹 Technical Skills:
- Smart City & IoT: Sensors, gateways, device provisioning, real-time monitoring.
- SCADA: PLC/RTU integration, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, BACnet.
- Integration: REST APIs, MQTT/Kafka/RabbitMQ.
- Dashboards: Real-time monitoring, Grafana / Power BI (plus).
- Networking & Security: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, OT/IoT security.
- Cloud (Preferred): Azure IoT / AWS IoT, Docker.

🔹 Education & Experience:
- BSc in Engineering (Communications, Electrical, Control, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related).
- 5+ years hands-on experience in Smart City / IoT / SCADA implementations.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure or government projects.
