Senior Accountant

Description:

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in investment or financial services. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts, overseeing budgets, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the bookkeeping for the Company and producing monthly management accounts, and related management information reporting
• Managing the Company accounting and preparing quarterly VAT and annual tax accounts
• Working closely with the management of the Company regarding financial planning and cashflow management
• Implementing appropriate corporate accounting systems and accounting best practices for the Company
• Managing internal and external audits of the Company’s financial statements, corporate IT systems and related best practices and procedures
• Regular management and approval of accounts payables and collection of accounts receivables
• Identifying opportunities to mitigate Company costs and enhance recovery of tax and other receivables
• Identifying operational efficiencies in the Company’s investment portfolio, working closely with the investment team

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
