Key Responsibilities
Review existing VDI setup and define a migration strategy.
Conduct planning sessions and develop migration procedures.
Prepare and test migration of user profiles, desktops, and applications.
Define migration waves (low-risk, velocity, and stragglers).
Execute migration in defined stages and validate outcomes.
Document runbooks, processes, and update design documents if needed.
Ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions.
Support stakeholder communication and change management.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience in VDI migrations, preferably with Omnissa Horizon View and Nutanix XC Plus.
Strong knowledge of workload migration, virtualization, and infrastructure administration.
Experience with UAT planning, documentation, and project tracking.
