Description:

o   Triage patients based on severity of condition and prioritize care accordingly.
o   Perform rapid, accurate assessments and initiate appropriate interventions.
o   Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as per protocols and physician orders.
o   Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:
o   Operate and monitor medical equipment (e.g., defibrillators, cardiac monitors, ventilators, ecg).
o   Perform wound care, suturing, IV insertion, and other emergency medical procedures.
o   Help in managing trauma cases, cardiac events, and other critical situations.
𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
o   Communicate effectively with physicians, paramedics, and other members of the healthcare team.
o   Participate in resuscitation efforts and emergency procedures.
o   Provide support and guidance to patients’ families during critical situations.
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆:
o   Adhere to infection control policies and emergency room protocols.
o   Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of treatments and care plans.
o   Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:
o   Stay updated on the latest ER nursing practices and certifications.
o   Participate in staff training, quality improvement initiatives, and simulations.
