Fleet Manager

Description:

The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the company’s fleet operations, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves managing vehicle readiness and utilization, driver performance, transportation operations, and on-road logistics across loading and off-loading sites. The manager will also lead teams across tracking, sourcing, and operations, while coordinating closely with other departments for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. A key aspect of the role includes monitoring fleet-related KPIs, maintaining accurate data in fleet management systems, and contributing to the overall financial health of the department through P&L analysis and strategic planning.


Job requirements:
1. Minimum 12 years in the transportation specially in heavy trucks and/or commercial vehicles management business, with minimum 3 years at senior management level.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of the logistics business with all its components Focused experience in operations, and technical understanding of management of heavy trucks fleets
3. Proven track record in managing teams and operations
4. Experience in various heavy trucking (refrigerators, Flatbeds, oil & Gas shipping, construction etc.)
5. Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance
6. High operational skills and leadership skills with flexibility to handle various span of personalities
7. Very Good command of English language
