Operations Manager

Description:

Color Motion is seeking a dedicated, organized, and proactive Operations Manager cum Event Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day functioning of our gymnastics club, while also leading our birthday parties and special events. We are looking for a core team member with hands-on experience in operations and a strong passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Color Motion club and ensure excellent workflows across all departments
- Coordinate staff schedules and ensure trainers, assistants, and cleaners are aligned with class and event timings
- Monitor and maintain club facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness for classes and events
- Handle inventory, supplies, and vendor relations for day-to-day needs (decor, cleaning materials, uniforms, etc.)
- Assist in planning seasonal schedules, managing bookings, and ensuring the timely execution of all club programs
- Act as the point of contact for parents, vendors, and internal team members regarding operational concerns
- Support management in staff training, performance tracking, and maintaining a child-friendly, professional environment
- Plan and execute all birthday parties and special events hosted at Color Motion
- Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and develop custom themes and event plans
- Manage decoration setup (tables, balloons, themes), entertainment, catering, and other logistics
- Source and liaise with trusted suppliers and entertainers, ensuring quality service delivery
- Oversee event setup, execution, and cleanup, ensuring everything runs efficiently
- Ensure client satisfaction and manage communication before, during, and after the event

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, event management, or a similar role (preferably in a kids-focused business or activity center)
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, schedules, vendors, and client relationships
- Strong knowledge of event planning, decoration styles, and supplier coordination
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
- Creative, well-organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced environments
- Must be based in Riyadh and available to work weekends and event days
- Passion for working with children and understanding the dynamics of a kids’ activity club
