Sustainability Manager

Description:

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Sustainability Manager to lead and implement sustainable practices across a major project in Riyadh. This is a 6-month contract, ideal for someone passionate about environmental impact and experienced in delivering sustainable strategies within high-profile environments.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:
🌍 Develop and implement event-wide sustainability plans
♻️ Oversee waste management, energy usage, water conservation, and material sourcing
📊 Monitor environmental KPIs and deliver performance reports
🤝 Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure compliance and innovation
📢 Drive awareness and training on sustainability initiatives across the project
✅ Ensure alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 sustainability goals
📁 Prepare reports and recommendations for legacy and impact reporting

🎓 Qualifications (Must-Have):

📘 Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Sustainable Design, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

🧠 Professional Experience:

3+ years of experience in sustainability management, preferably within the construction industry in the GCC.

📜 Certifications:

LEED Accredited Professional (AP) or Envision ENV SP certification is required.

🔍 Specialized Knowledge:

Proficiency in carbon management, life cycle analysis, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable procurement.

✔️ Proven experience in sustainability, ESG, or environmental management
✔️ Background in events, construction, or corporate sustainability preferred
✔️ Strong understanding of regional and global sustainability standards
✔️ Available in Riyadh from 1 May 2025 to 31 October 2025
